Parallel Zombies is a PVP gamemode ran on the Parallel Events server, inspired by Mineplex's Zombie Survival gamemode. The gamemode consists of two teams, the Survivors and the Zombies. The Survivors have to try and be the last one standing while being bombarded by player controlled and AI zombies. There is no time limit, the game ends when there is one Survivor left standing.
When the game begins, a player is randomly chosen as the Alpha Zombie. AI controlled zombies will spawn every 12 seconds at preset "graveyard" locations, in groups of 1 to 3. Player controlled zombies, when killed, will respawn in a random graveyard. When a Survivor is killed, they will turn into a normal Zombie and respawn at a graveyard.
Roles
There are currently two roles, Survivors and Zombies, each with specific loadouts and/or abilities.
Survivors
Currently, all survivors all share the same loadout, and have no notable abilities.

Zombies
Player Zombies consist of two kits, the Alpha Zombie and the regular Zombie. There can only ever be one Alpha Zombie: the zombie chosen at the start of the game. Player Zombies are also immune to fall damage.

AI Zombie
AI Zombies will choose a random survivor on the map and head towards them. They will only change their target if attacked by a Survivor, a nearby Zombie is attacked by a Survivor, or they cannot reach their target after multiple attempts. Unlike player Zombies, AI Zombies are not immune to fall damage.
