Makeshift Wings are an item functionally equivalent to an Elytra with its own custom texture. This item can be bought from Red in the Otherside Spawn Town.

Usage

As stated above, Makeshift Wings and the Elytra are mechanically identical items with different textures. Makeshift wings may be enchanted with any enchantment that applies to regular Elytras. Makeshift wings also have the same durability as regular Elytras.

Texture

The item-GUI texture of Makeshift Wings is in the Parallel Resource Pack. Users must have Optifine installed to see the worn texture of Makeshift Wings on the player. Otherwise, Makeshift Wings will appear as a normal Elytra on a player.

Trivia

In the laboratory floor of the Space Station, there is a conveyor belt containing manufactured Makeshift Wings. Optifine must be installed on the client to see the texture of these wings, otherwise they will appear as Elytras on a conveyor belt. GET PHOTO OF THIS
