Towns are settlements in which players can freely build, as long as existing structures are respected. The Spawn Town of each dimension is linked to other towns with portal pads.

Frontier towns

Frontier towns are established by staff when Parallel updates Minecraft versions, and are located in new terrain.

Player towns

Some towns are player-created. In order to be recognized and receive a portal pad, a town must meet the following requirements:

  • The town should have at least 5 active players.
  • The town should be established and active for at least 2 weeks. All players must remain active during this time.
  • The town should not be too close to spawn or other teleport pads. If it is deemed by staff to be too close to spawn or another town/teleport pad, a specially marked nether highway will be linked to it instead.
  • The town should have a significant amount of infrastructure/buildings that players can live in or use.
  • The town should have a name.

Players interested in having their town recognized should fill out the application. Note that inactive towns can have their portal pads removed at staff discretion.
