The Auction House is a feature that allows players to sell items for a fixed amount of Riftcoins or auction them to the highest bidder, using a GUI that can be accessed anywhere. A physical Auction House can be visited at Spawn.

A stack of stone for sale in the Auction House.

Selling

Running one of the Auction House commands will remove the items in your main hand and make them available to prospective buyers for the next 12 hours. There are two ways this can be done, with sales and auctions. Each player can have up to 3 sales or auctions active at a time.

Sales are put up using /ah sell <price>. This sets a fixed price for the items, and the first person to click on them will receive the full stack. Allowed sale prices are between 1 – 30,000 Riftcoins.

Alternatively, an auction may be created with /ah bid <price>. The price specified is the starting price. Players can offer bids, and the items will be granted to the highest bidder once the auction expires. If a bid is made with fewer than 10 minutes until the auction expires, the auction time will be extended by 10 minutes.

If a sale or auction expires without anyone claiming the items, the seller can retrieve them with /ah collect.

Buying

Using the /ah command opens the Auction House GUI, which displays the items available for purchase. Hovering on an item provides information about the auction, including its cost, the seller, and the expire time. Clicking on the item allows you to purchase or bid on it.

If the item is successfully purchased, it will be transferred to your inventory unless you are offline or your inventory is full. In that case, /ah collect can be used to retrieve your items.

The bottom of the GUI contains options for searching and sorting auctions, buttons used for changing pages, and a refresh button for the panel.
