About
The Pocket Teleporter is an item purchased from Red. It's texture has a red and green button, a small antenna, and a screen with a texture similar to a Nether Portal, possibly referring to teleportation.
Functionality
Upon right-clicking the Pocket Teleporter, the player must stand still for 5 seconds before being teleported back to spawn. If the player moves or is moved in any way before the timer counts down, the teleportation
will be unsuccessful. After the player is teleported back to spawn, the player's previous coordinates will be saved to the teleporter, which can be seen if the player hovers over the teleporter in their inventory. The world
the player was in will also be shown alongside the coordinates, as the Pocket Teleporter supports teleportation between worlds. If the player right clicks the teleporter again, after a short cooldown, they will be teleported
back to the coordinates shown on the teleporter, and the coordinates will be cleared. The player must be in the spawn region in order to teleport back to their saved coordinates, or else the teleportation will not work.
Notes
If a player owns more than one teleporter, using either one will teleport the player back to the last saved coordinates, as teleporter coordinates are saved on a per player basis, and not per item. For example,
having two teleporters in the inventory with saved coordinates in each, if the player uses the oldest teleporter, they will be teleported to the coordinates on the other, or newest, teleporter coordinates.
If the spot a player is attempting to teleport back to is deemed "unsafe", similar to that of a Totem of the Void, the teleporter will attempt to bring the player to the next safe block, checking a 5x5 radius at any
Y coordinate in order to achieve a safe teleportation. If for some reason there are no safe blocks in this area, the teleport will fail.
