Functionality

Right-clicking the Pocket Teleporter and standing still for 5 seconds activates the teleporter. If the player moves or is moved in any way before the timer counts down, the teleportation will be unsuccessful.

If the player is not within the Otherside spawn region, they will be teleported there and their previous location will be saved to the teleporter. Hovering over the teleporter in the inventory displays the saved coordinates and the name of the dimension. After a short cooldown, using the teleporter again within Spawn teleports the player back and clears the coordinates.

If a player owns more than one teleporter, using either one will teleport the player back to the same coordinates, as teleporter coordinates are saved on a per-player basis, and not per item.

If the spot a player is attempting to teleport back to is deemed "unsafe", the teleporter will attempt to bring the player to a nearby safe block, similar to the Totem of the Void. The teleport will fail if there are no safe blocks at any Y level within a 5×5 horizontal area centered on the intended destination.
