Voting for Parallel is a way to support the server by helping to promote it on server lists. Players can receive many different types of rewards as compensation for voting.

Voting links

Players can vote five times per day, once on each of the following voting sites:

The links can be seen ingame with the /vote command.

Vote Party

Every 50 votes that the server receives (on any of the voting sites) will trigger a Vote Party. 15 seconds after the party begins, a Vote Chest is given to all online players. The number of votes remaining until a vote party can be seen on the #info-and-rules channel in the Discord, or by using the commands /voteparty or /vp ingame.

Vote Parties can offer a number of valuable rewards, some of them exclusive, so it is recommended to attend Vote Parties whenever possible.

Rewards

Individual vote rewards

For each vote, a player will receive 5 riftcoins. There is also a 10% chance they will receive a diamond. If a player's inventory is full when voting, they can type /vote claim to receive the diamond reward.

Vote Party rewards

Right clicking a Vote Party chest will consume it. The player will receive 20 riftcoins, plus 2 rolls of the following loot table:

  1. ↑ The size of stacks (or for unstackable items, number) of this item on any given roll.
  2. ↑ The weight of this item relative to other items in the pool.
  3. ↑ The odds of finding any of this item in a single chest.
  4. ↑ The number of items expected per chest, averaged over a large number of chests.
  5. ↑ The average number of chests the player should expect to search to find any of this item.
  6. ↑ Enchantment probabilities are the same as a level-39 enchantment would be on an enchantment table that had no cap at level 30, and that was able to apply treasure enchantments (except Soul Speed, and Swift Sneak), and where the chance of multiple enchantments is not reduced.
  7. ↑ Enchantment probabilities are the same as a level-50 enchantment would be on an enchantment table that had no cap at level 30, and that was able to apply treasure enchantments (except Soul Speed, and Swift Sneak), and where the chance of multiple enchantments is not reduced.


Cumulative rewards

Cumulative rewards are unlocked if a certain number of votes is reached by a player over a given period of time. They can be repeatedly unlocked per specified period of time (ex: every week, every month, etc.).

The /votes command can be used to display your vote totals for different periods of time.

Milestone rewards

Milestone rewards, such as voter ranks, are unlocked if a player reaches a certain award of lifetime votes. These can only be unlocked once.

Top voters

The command /votetop [alltime|monthly] displays the current voting leaderboards. At the end of each month, the top 2 voters win a Shulker Box with loot and a custom map art, and positions 3–5 receive riftcoin rewards. In the future, the prizes will include assorted cosmetics and store perks.

The top voters from June 2021 onward are honored in the Parallel Museums in Parallel Prime and Otherside.
